About me

Hi, my name is Sara and welcome to the Your Savvy VA website. This section is a little bit about my background and my core values which should give you an understanding of who I am and whether my skills could help you and your business to succeed. As you have found my website you must be searching for some support with the back-office tasks of your business. I established my business with the aim to utilise my skills in communication, organisation and digital marketing to support other small businesses to achieve their full potential.

In addition to my business skills, I studied art and design and enjoy using my artistic flair and design prowess to ensure the presentation of items such as websites, newsletters and emails are effective, attractive and coordinated to give a cohesive brand appearance. I am a detail-focused individual who likes to make things ‘just so’ and having also studied proofreading I have an eye for spotting and correcting mistakes. These assets enable me to provide a well-rounded service that can help you portray your business in the best possible light to your customers.

My background

I am an award winning Digital Marketing Manager and have worked for over 10 years, in both the UK and the USA, for a FTSE 100 digital marketing company. During this time, I worked firstly in Customer Service handling public relations and complaints for the CEO and Senior Executive Team and then I moved into Digital Marketing (SEO and Google AdWords/PPC advertising) where I led a team who serviced the advertising of small and medium businesses.

I have developed a strong understanding of how to get the best out of your interactions with customers as well as what goes into making good digital advertising. In addition, I learned a great deal about the help that SME’s need and developed a broad range of professional office skills to be able to support them. Leading a team of 15 plus people (and being a mum of two energetic young boys) I have become adept at multi-tasking, prioritising and organising in order to succeed.
